The word of God on high is the fountain of wisdom
and her ways are everlasting.
To whom has wisdom’s root been revealed?
Who knows her subtleties?
To whom has the discipline of wisdom been revealed?
And who has understood the multiplicity of her ways?  – Siriach 1. 5 – 8

Wisdom rings our heart with strength, and guards against our falseness and fears.

Wisdom, like an angel, surrounds our loneliness and grows in us like the subtle breath of April leaves in an unexplored forest.

Where this counts, really counts, is in the counsel we seek and receive from our elders, guides and teachers.

And, yet, while it is an eternal blessing to receive such wisdom from a wise-one, nothing can replace the vital importance of personal verification and application of all  proscribed wise formulas for oneself. Until the wisdom is put on like a cherished garment, it remains to you simply as good advice, or generalities.

What word-wisdom are you needing today? Wishing for it is a key step in the reception process.
