Lord Jesus, Living Christ: You returned good for evil, blessings for curses, love for hate, and acceptance for accusations. Today, we recall your transfiguration where we see the truth of your being. We see that you are love radiating light. You have shown us that the way to transformation is through surrender – giving up our will to power, success and control. Draw us into solitude and silence that we might follow you. Amen.
