Loving God: Open the scriptures to each of us in personal and life giving ways in this Lenten silence. As we journey, we request wisdom for interpretation and courage for the application of insights to our personal lives. In this world of tumult, your Word supports us and holds us up. So we ask now that this season of increased contemplation of your life giving Word would be profitable, edifying our souls, renewing our minds, transforming us from one degree of Life to the next. In the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
