Loving God of the Universe: Your journey to us has set us on journey to you. While it is tempting to think that we are all alone on this journey, in Christ we discover that you are always with us and that we are with each other, brothers and sisters of the human family. Amidst the many fearful ideas about the destiny of humanity, your journey to us in Christ assures us that our destiny is personal, loving and ends in peaceful community. We wish to prepare ourselves to be this spiritual community today, so helps us to see in each stranger something of ourselves and in so doing feel our common humanity and your uncommon grace pulsing through the galaxies even into the interstellar realm of this beating heart. Amen.
