Aware of the diminishing allure of this world and all its programs, we retreat deeper into the silence. There, beyond all books and beliefs, we simply feel your loving presence. “How can this be?” the soul shyly asks. “Because of me. It is me. It is all me,” the Spirit softly speaks. Are you in awe yet of the fact of your being? Do you realize who you are? Do you know whose you are? My God, my God, you have not forsaken me! All along it has been You, Thou, Thee – higher and deeper than thought, the everlasting hiddeness of love now revealed in Christ in whom my life is now found. Amen.
